Iron River, MI

Mirkwood is a single-track loop through a pine forest just south of Iron River. The trail is rolling and approachable — a good first ride or run for visitors and a fast lap for locals.

Trailhead: South of West Iron County Schools by Stambaugh Airport. Park across the road from the airport access.

Telmarine Hill trailhead

Mixed routes

Telmarine Hill

Caspian, MI

Telmarine Hill sits on a former ski jump and ski slopes site in Caspian. Routes wind through woods and meadows full of lupine and other wild flowers, with a few tough climbs and some downhills to keep things interesting.

Trailhead: Across the parking lot from Caspian City Hall, on the former ski jump and ski slope site.

Connectors

Move between trail systems without a vehicle.

Two connector routes link the trail systems and open up longer rides for visitors and local riders.

Apple Blossom Trail

A paved connector that links the two trail systems for riders who want to roll between trailheads without a vehicle.

State Line Trail

A gravel route connecting the trail network and providing a longer ride option through the area.
